About Vastra

Hey, I’m Evan — the founder of Vastra, and I want to personally thank you for being here.

I started Vastra in November 2024 with a vision: to create outdoor clothing and gear that’s tough, functional, and rooted in a love for the wild. As someone who’s always been drawn to the mountains — whether it’s skiing fresh powder or climbing new routes — Everything started from a couple handmade beanies that become neck warmers!

Since day one, I’ve focused on making products that hold up in real conditions — not just look good in photos. We’ve sold over 750 products in our first months, and every one of them represents a step toward building something meaningful: a community of people who live boldly, move freely, and care about the world they explore.

One of the things I’m most proud of is our use of retired climbing rope in our Chalk bags. It’s a small way we give gear a second life, but it represents a bigger goal: designing with intention and reducing waste, without sacrificing performance.

Vastra isn’t just about selling gear — it’s about building something that lasts, and making sure that what we make reflects the values of the people who wear it. We’re here for the early risers chasing mountain sunrises, the ones who take the hard way up just for the view, and anyone who believes that the outdoors is more than a destination — it’s a lifestyle.
